Swim Teacher

Between 2016 and 2019, I worked at several leisure centres in Southwark as both a lifeguard and a swimming teacher. My role as a lifeguard included supervision of the pool, continued training on health and safety and teamwork to facilitate the running of the leisure centre.

As a swimming teacher, I was responsible for teaching classes of children from the age of three all the way to adults, and instructing total beginners as well as swimmers beginning to transition to competitive swimming.

To do this, I held qualifications as a RLSS NPLQ Lifeguard, Emergency First Aid at Work and Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher.
